Are you ready for twelve weeks of intensive training?

ECRA Program and Syllabus

ECRA Program Schedule : 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. T-TH LECTURE(M-W-F LAB)

Average of 2.0 hours daily, 10 hours weekly (12 WEEKS)

Weeks 1-2: 10 hours

Weeks 3-12: 100 hours

Hours of School Operation: 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. M-F

Total number of hours of instruction per week:

4 hours lecture

6 hours lab

Description:

12 week intensive training course that details radio production, imaging, and on-air technique/personality

Skills learned:

-Reading and Speaking Techniques

- Adlibbing Techniques

-Introduction to Radio/Studio Operation

-Audio Production

-Station Imaging

- Introduction to Radio Formats and Program Log

- Resume/Audition Tape Preparation/Job Interviewing

-Final Audition tape Production/Submission

Requirements:

All students will be required to:

-Write and produce commercial copy and station imaging

-Assemble an air check

-Pass written exams and tests

-Learn Adobe Audition , Shortcut, and basic board/studio operation

Evaluation:
Students will be evaluated based on written exams/tests and on production/imaging quality along with on-air presentation. Written exams/tests will account for 20% of final grade. On-Air Presentation and production/imaging/projects will account for 80% of final grade
